Kia ora,

After months of planning, visiting gardens, and working alongside our wonderful garden owners, we're so excited to share this year's festival with you.

On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November, we'll be opening the gates to 10 beautiful private gardens around the island – and this year they really are a wonderful mix.

From secret gardens and lush tropical escapes to French-inspired planting, productive kitchen gardens and spectacular clifftop views, there's plenty of inspiration to take home – or simply enjoy having a good old nosey around someone else's beautiful garden!

Explore the gardens at your own pace by car, join a Fullers360 guided bus tour, or take advantage of a special festival package with eRide Waiheke, which offers an eco-friendly way to experience the gardens without worrying about parking.

Art lovers will also have plenty to discover. A dedicated art stop at Studio 309 will feature sculpture, ceramics and paintings from a collective of Waiheke artists, with a generous portion of sales donated to the Trust.

Two of this year's featured gardens are also home to established artists. Wander through Ann Skelly's intimate home studio (Garden 9) or visit Pamela Howard-Smith's Odesea Gallery (Garden 8), showcasing vibrant paintings, prints, sculpture and ceramics inspired by Māori culture and Waiheke's extraordinary landscapes.

Botanical artist Jenny Lee will display her detailed botanical illustrations, scientific illustrator Sue Wickison will offer a selection of merchandise, and Ian Douglas will showcase a collection of his handcrafted creations.

Visitors will also have the chance to browse a selection of products from local makers, including artisan honey, handmade soaps, botanical products, chocolates and locally crafted hats – perfect for treating yourself or getting a head start on your Christmas shopping.

There'll be plenty of opportunities to stop, relax and refuel throughout the weekend, with fresh coffee, homemade baking and light refreshments available at selected gardens, along with exclusive dining offers at some of Waiheke's favourite cafés and restaurants.

💙 And we can't forget the reason we do it all.

The Waiheke Garden Festival is the Jassy Dean Trust's major fundraiser, with every dollar raised going directly towards supporting Waiheke children and families facing illness, injury or disability.

Over the past year alone, the Trust has helped more than 100 local families, so every ticket purchased really does make a difference.

Book now to take advantage of the $50 Early Bird price until 30 September. Your ticket includes entry to all 10 gardens across both festival days so that you can explore at your own pace.

And if you have friends or family who would enjoy a weekend of gardens, art, plants, delicious food and a spring escape on Waiheke, we'd love it if you shared the festival with them too.

We can't wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable weekend of gardens, community and spring on Waiheke.

Thank you for supporting the Jassy Dean Trust. Every ticket helps us continue supporting local children and families when they need it most.
