For over 30 years, the Jassy Dean Trust has been spreading sunshine by supporting kids and their families on Waiheke who are facing health challenges. Every dollar raised from the festival goes directly to the Trust, to continue this important work.

This year’s festival promises to bring the 'wow' factor with a mix of new gardens as well as beloved favourites on display. From the glorious Sacred Blessings Sanctuary to charming potager gardens, there’s something to inspire everyone!

We’re kicking things off with a pre-festival treat: local landscape designer Lyndell Shannon will spill all the secrets she picked up at London's Chelsea Flower Show during a special talk at Placemakers Garden Centre at 8.30am on Saturday 9th. Perfect for sparking those creative garden ideas!

Choose your transport - explore the gardens by car, on the Fullers 360 bus tour, or even on an eco-friendly e-bike with a special discounted ticket package. All e-bike hire proceeds will benefit the Trust thanks to eRide Waiheke. Gardens are spread across the island, and where access is tricky, free shuttle buses ensure nothing is missed. The festival celebrates nature, art, and community, featuring fantastic local musical talent. You can groove to the sounds of jazz/soul duo Alex Ludbrook and Peter Reilly, kick up your heels with the Sirens, or relax to the tunes of piano accordionist Pauline Stewart—all while supporting a great cause.

This year, we’re excited to introduce a brand-new ‘ART STOP’ at Studio 309, showcasing stunning sculptures, paintings, and ceramics, with artist Belinda Fabris and others generously donating a portion of their sales to the Trust. Selected gardens will also feature works from Waiheke’s finest, including Tom Wilson’s botanical paintings, Sue Wickison’s stunning botanical illustration merchandise, and Zoe Leeb du Toit’s colorful creations. Again, a portion of any sales will go to the Trust.

And of course, don’t miss the legendary Ngaio’s Plant Sale, where you can grab a bargain while supporting a worthy cause. For over 20 years, Ngaio Lewis has been growing and selling plants from her Onetangi home, with all proceeds benefiting the Jassy Dean Trust. Open from 9am-1pm Sat & Sun during the festival.

Delicious snacks, coffee, and scones will be available at select locations, and a dedicated lunch spot with live music and a licensed bar will ensure your taste buds are well taken care of.

This festival is our biggest fundraiser and we're incredibly grateful to everyone who makes it happen. We’d like to thank our major festival sponsors Fullers 360 and eRide Waiheke and our Silver sponsors Allpress Olive Groves, Central Landscape Supplies, Ecozip Adventures NZ, Placemakers Waiheke, Waiheke Wine Tours and our Bronze sponsor Island Gelato.

Other local businesses and organisations support the event in numerous practical ways. Thank you to GO Rentals, Gulf News, Greenacres Waiheke, Paperplus Waiheke, Sealink, Sign Maidens, Waiheke Aqua, Waiheke High School, Waiheke Real EstateWaiheke Rotary and Woolworths

The event wouldn't be possible without our incredibly generous garden owners, our plant sale organiser Ngaio Lewis, our musicians and artists, and the over 100 volunteers who ensure everything runs smoothly.

Don’t miss this fantastic community event supporting a worthy cause!
