What a success!
WOW! WOW! WOW! and THANK YOU!
The Jassy Dean Trust wishes to thank all those who helped to make this year’s Waiheke Garden Festival such a success.
THANK YOU to all our garden owners. Every garden looked sensational! Those of us who labour over keeping even a small patch tidy’ish’ know what stupendous efforts have been made by all. This year, unexpected circumstances presented extra challenges for some of our hosts. We really appreciate the huge efforts they made to open over the weekend.
THANK YOU to all their neighbours whose lives were disrupted by cars, buses, bikes and hundreds of enthusiastic visitors.
Hello Spring!
Only seven weeks until we open the gates for the 24th Jassy Dean Trust Waiheke Garden Festival. For the frantically busy garden owners and the slightly hysterical organising committee, these will pass in a nano-second. It never ceases to amaze me what wonderous garden gems are hidden around our island and the generosity of their owners who so willingly share them. We look forward to showcasing their magnificent contribution to the Jassy Dean Trust over the weekend of the 9th and 10th of November.

Happy New Year from the Jassy Dean Trust!
What a wonderful summer. We hope it has been a restorative one for everybody. At Jassy Dean the year has begun with energy and enthusiasm. We have already held two Trust meetings!
Requests for funding from the Trust grow every year. We anticipate we will be asked to find in the vicinity of $100,000 over this coming one…with every cent to be invested in the health of our local children. It’s a huge amount for a small community to raise and with figures like that, clearly fundraising becomes a major, top of the pile, super important and central issue! Planning is well underway, and everyone will be delighted that once again the Jassy Dean Waiheke Garden Festival is back on the calendar and will be held over the weekend of 9 and 10 November, 2024.
Jassy Dean Trust - Spring is in the air and so is our new book!
